Closures scheduled for KY 4 (New Circle Road)/Versailles Road Interchange in Fayette County
Geotechnical drilling and survey work to be performed
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 19, 2013) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that temporary closures are scheduled for the KY 4 (New Circle Road)/Versailles Road Interchange in Lexington. The closures are necessary for geotechnical drilling and survey work to be completed.
(weekday work only/no weekend work)
Ramp D (the inner loop ramp) from New Circle Road to downtown Lexington will close at 9:00 a.m. and reopen prior to 3:30 p.m.
- Monday, September 23 through Monday, September 30
Weekday work hours will be 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Closures for shoulders may occur at varied stages during the scheduled hours and days of work.
Appropriate signage will be in place to guide and direct the traveling public.
All scheduled work is subject to change depending on the weather, emergencies and factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling near the work area.
