Lane closure scheduled for Clay’s Ferry Bridge
The bridge is located along I-75 over the Kentucky River
LEXINGTON, Ky. (September 12, 2013) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that a temporary lane closure is scheduled for I-75 northbound on the Clay’s Ferry Bridge. The closure is necessary for the repair of potholes in the bridge deck.
Friday, September 13 - 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The left (fast) lane will be closed on Interstate 75 northbound on the Clay’s Ferry Bridge (MP 98).
At least two lanes in the northbound direction will be open at all times.
All lanes in the southbound direction will remain open.
Appropriate signage and traffic control devices will be in place to alert and guide the traveling public.
All work is scheduled on a tentative basis and is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
