Lane closure scheduled for I-75 on
Clay’s Ferry Bridge

LEXINGTON, Ky. (September 3, 2013) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that a temporary lane closure is scheduled for I-75 southbound on the Clay’s Ferry Bridge. The closure is necessary for the reinstallation of a high friction surface test section.
Wednesday, September 4 - 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The right (slow) lane will be closed on Interstate 75 southbound on the Clay’s Ferry Bridge (MP 98).
Appropriate signage will be in place to alert and guide the traveling public.
All work is scheduled on a tentative basis and is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
