Beam setting scheduled for KY 974 Bridge over
Mountain Parkway in Clark County
KY 974 (Kiddville Road)/KY 9000 (Mountain Parkway) Interchange Project
LEXINGTON, Ky. (August 20, 2013) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that beam setting is scheduled for the KY 974 Bridge. The bridge is located over the Mountain Parkway at mile point 10.5. The work is necessary for progress to continue on the Kiddville Road Interchange in southeastern Clark County.
- Each rolling roadblock will be approximately 10 to 15 minutes in duration.
- Provisions will be made for emergency vehicles to pass through the area immediately.
Work will be performed:
- Wednesday, August 21 - 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. - rolling roadblocks will be in place on the westbound side
- Thursday, August 22 - 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. - rolling roadblocks will be in place on the eastbound side
The alternate inclement weather date for the work will be Friday, August 23.
Appropriate signage and traffic control devices will be in place to alert motorists.
All scheduled work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
