Lane Closures Scheduled for KY 4 (New Circle Road) in
Work to be completed for railroad bridge by the R.J. Corman Railroad Company
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 26, 2013) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that temporary lane closures are scheduled for KY 4 (New Circle Road) in Lexington, Fayette County. The closures are necessary for the R.J. Corman Railroad Company to replace cross ties on the railroad bridge.
Work will be performed:
· Thursday, February 28 – 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The location for the project on KY 4 (New Circle Road) will be railroad mile point 14. This section of roadway is between Liberty Road and Palumbo Drive.
One lane will be closed with one lane remaining open during the hours of work.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the work area.
