Interstate sign repairs in Jefferson County scheduled for April 8 - 11
 
Louisville, KY (April 8, 2013) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 5 Office advises motorists of lane closures on various interstates this week in Jefferson County due to sign repairs.  Contract crews will be repairing damaged signs on Interstates 64, 65, 71 and 265.  Lane closures are necessary during the overnight hours for repairs at the following locations:
  • Westbound I-64 - right lane closure at mile point 5.1 on Monday evening, April 8, 9:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
  • Westbound I-64 - left lane closure at mile point 5.1 on Monday evening, April 8, 11:00 p.m. until Tuesday morning, April 9, 12:30 a.m.
  •  Eastbound I-64 - left lane closure at mile point 0.65 on Tuesday morning, April 9, 1:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m.
  • Eastbound I-64 - right lane closure at mile point 3.96 on Tuesday morning, April 9, 2:30 a.m. – 4:00 a.m.
  • Entrance ramp from River Road to eastbound I-64 - right lane of ramp closed on Tuesday evening, April 9, 9:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
  • Northbound I-265/KY 841 (Gene Snyder Freeway) - right lane closure at mile point 11.4 on Tuesday evening, April 9, 11:30 p.m. until Wednesday morning, April 10, 12:30 a.m.
  • Northbound I-265/KY 841 – right lane closure near I-71 (mile point 34.4) on Wednesday morning, April 10, 1:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m.
  • Northbound I-265/KY 841 – left lane closure near I-71 (mile point 34.4) on Wednesday morning, April 10, 2:30 a.m. until 4:00 a.m.
  • Southbound I-71 – left lane closure near US 42 (mile point 6.1) on Wednesday evening, April 10, 9:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
  • Southbound I-65 – right lane closure near Brandeis Avenue (mile point 133.3) on Thursday morning, April 11, 12:00 a.m. until 1:30 a.m.
