Daytime closures scheduled for KY 713 in Menifee County on Jan. 21-22
JACKSON, Ky. – KY 713 in Menifee County will be closed during daytime hours for two days next week in order for repairs to be made to a break in pavement.
The road will be closed from 8 a.m. until 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 21 and Jan. 22. The closure point is at milepoint 12.5, near Menifee County High School.
While the road is closed, drivers can use US 460 as a detour route. Inclement weather may result in the closure dates being changed. If so, the revised schedule will be announced on the Department of Highways District 10’s Facebook and Twitter pages. Search for “KYTC District 10” on Facebook and “@KYTCDistrict10” on Twitter.
The break developed Sunday night, Jan. 12. Signs and message boards are in place to warn drivers of the hazard, and the affected area is blocked off. The break affects only part of one lane of travel, so the route remains passable with one-lane traffic.
