Our focus is to inspect Airports, Heliports and other landing areas in the state to determine safety, adequacy, and licensing for facilities per KRS 183.090 and 602 KAR Chapter 20 . We provide standards for design and construction of private Heliports, Airstrips, and other landing areas. We also administer the FAA 5010 Safety Data Program for state public use airports.
